The Winter Book Sale is Coming!
The 2020 Winter Book Sale is coming soon! The Sale will be held in the Orcas Island School Cafeteria, on March 7th, from 10 AM to 3 PM. We're looking for volunteers to help with setup and being cashiers for the sale. There's a sign-up sheet at the front desk of the library, or contact Ken Gibbs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The board is looking to add some new members to the board. If you'd like to take part, let us know. Contact any of the board members for more information.
FOIL membership for last year totaled 106 members. We'd also like to increase the number of members. Look for a membership campaign soon, but in the meantime, if you know of someone who ought to join, they can pick up a membership form from our web page at the library, at the Winter Book Sale, or from the front desk at the library.

MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS
The Board of Directors meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:30-5:00PM at the Library in Maria’s Room.
The Friends of the Orcas Island Library has merchandise for sale*. Merchandise is available for purchase in the Library.

And, of course ... paperbacks ($1) and hardbound books ($2) in the Library lobby.
*All proceeds from the sale of merchandise help to further the mission and activities of the Friends of the Orcas Island Library.
